Information the service processes
A question can be personal without becoming public. Worth Asking processes your account email and sign-in identity; chosen name, portrait and signature; questions, confirmed background and research history; follows, feedback and notification preferences; subscription references and entitlement history; and support requests. Operational records help authenticate requests, prevent abuse, reconcile payments and diagnose failures.
Google and Apple sign-in provide basic identity information: an account identifier, email and, where supplied, a name or profile image. We do not request your inbox or contacts. A provider portrait is used in your profile only when you select it.
Private research and public choices
Other users cannot read your private research. Providing the service requires processing by our infrastructure and research providers, and limited authorized access for support, security or an investigation. When you add private background, it is kept separate from public-source searches; those searches use the public research brief you explicitly confirm.
Publication requires a separate preview and confirmation. Email, membership and private background are not part of a public author card. Showing your portrait among followers is a separate opt-in. You can withdraw public credit; the public research record can remain without that credit.
Services involved in processing
Cloudflare hosts the application, database and delivery infrastructure. Research uses OpenRouter to route necessary question and evidence content to eligible AI providers. Private AI requests require routes that disallow training and require zero data retention, with input/output logging disabled for our credential. This does not mean that operational metadata, our saved research or every service’s records disappear immediately.
Resend delivers sign-in emails, selected research notifications and support messages. Our support mailbox and forwarding service process messages sent to support. Paddle handles checkout and billing under its own privacy notice; we receive subscription references and status, not full payment card details. These services may process information outside your country.
Email, webhooks and browser storage
Research email follows your saved delivery choices. Following a public question does not automatically select it for email. If you enable a webhook, selected events go to your HTTPS destination; including private content needs a separate choice. An email or webhook already delivered cannot be recalled from its recipient.
We use a session cookie for sign-in and browser storage for language and plan preferences, drafts and action continuity. Clearing browser storage can remove unsent drafts or pending actions, but does not delete records saved in your account. Loading external sign-in, payment or portrait services also involves their data handling.
Keeping and removing information
Saved questions, research and confirmed background support the history you return to. Ending tracking or canceling renewal does not automatically erase that history. Support, billing and security records serve separate purposes and are not removed by releasing a question’s place.
Where background withdrawal is available, it stops further use of that background and makes the dependent private judgment unavailable. Removal can still be processing; completion applies to active storage. Recovery backups and copies already sent outside the service have separate lifecycles. Withdrawal is not account-wide deletion.
For access, correction, a copy of your information or deletion, contact support@worthasking.ai. Self-service account export and deletion are not currently available. We may need to verify ownership before handling a request. We will explain its scope, any records that must be retained and the outcome; submitting a request does not confirm completed erasure.
